Supporting Adult Learners: Strategies for an Inclusive Classroom - By Liz Ramirez In-Person

Adult Education learners bring rich life experiences and unique perspectives to the classroom—but they may also face challenges that can impact their academic success, including balancing work and family responsibilities, returning to school after many years, or navigating unfamiliar technology. This workshop will explore the common barriers adult learners face and provide practical, proactive strategies faculty can use to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Join us to share ideas, ask questions, and build your toolkit for student-centered instruction that empowers adult learners to thrive. Presented by Liz Ramirez.
