Somatic Mindfulness for Wellness - by Charles Collom In-Person

This workshop is designed to equip college employees with somatic mindfulness techniques to navigate the high-pressure demands of academic and administrative environments. Somatic mindfulness integrates body-based awareness with mindfulness principles to foster self-regulation, reduce stress, and enhance focus. Tailored for a diverse audience of faculty, staff, and administrators, the workshop provides experiential learning through guided practices, brief theoretical grounding, and practical strategies for daily integration. The content is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and aligned with evidence-based practices, ensuring accessibility for participants with varying levels of familiarity with mindfulness. Presented by Charles Collom.
