The New Employee Orientation is a 3.5-hour interactive training provided by key leaders from various departments, including KCCD MA and CSEA. The training aims to welcome all new managers and classified employees hired in the previous month and introduce them to critical support personnel, procedures, and resources such as Human Resources, Technology Support Services, Public Safety, Accessibility, BC Foundation, Student Life, Academic Technology, and Professional Development. The content and interactive activities are designed to immerse new personnel in the robust college and district-wide work focused on equity, Vision 2030, and student success.

Objectives:

• Provide information and essential resources to help new employees excel at Bakersfield College (BC).
• Educate new employees about BC's mission, core values, and processes.
• Empower new employees to contribute to and advance the BC success story.
