Safe Space - Adrianna Oceguera In-Person

2SLGBTQ+ Safe Space training for faculty is a comprehensive program designed to create an inclusive and supportive environment for Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and other gender and sexual minority students and colleagues. This training educates faculty on the unique challenges faced by 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, promotes understanding and empathy, and provides practical tools and strategies for fostering a safe and welcoming academic community. Participants learn about inclusive language, addressing microaggressions, and creating affirming classroom and campus spaces, ultimately enhancing the overall well-being and success of 2SLGBTQ+ members within the educational institution.

BC is committed to providing services, programs, and events that are open and welcoming to all.  Reasonable accommodations and sign language interpreters are available on request.  Registering early for flex week workshops and requesting accommodations 3-5 days in advance will help us provide seamless access.
