The New Employee Orientation is a 3. 5 hour interactive training provided by various departments’ key leaders to include KCCD MA and CSEA. The goalss of the training are to welcome all new employees, managers and classified employees, hired in the previous month and introduce them to critical support personnel, procedures, and resources to include Human Resources, Technology Support Services, Public Safety, Marketing, Student Life, Academic Technology and Professional Development, and immerse them in the robust work focused on equity, diversity, inclusion, and Vision 2030!  

Objectives: 

• To provide information and essential resources to begin and excel in Bakersfield College(BC)
• To learn about Bakersfield College mission, core values, and processes 
• To empower our new employee to be part of, enrich, and advance the BC success story
