New Employee Orientation Lead by Dr. Fliger and Key BC Leaders In-Person

The New Employee Orientation is a 3. 5 hour interactive training provided by various departments’ key leaders to include KCCD MA and CSEA. The goalss of the training are to welcome all new employees, managers and classified employees, hired in the previous month and introduce them to critical support personnel, procedures, and resources to include Human Resources, Technology Support Services, Public Safety, Marketing, Student Life, Academic Technology and Professional Development, and immerse them in the robust work focused on equity, diversity, inclusion, and Vision 2030!  

Objectives: 

  • To highlight Bakersfield College's mission, core values, and key community support. 
  • To provide information and essential onboarding resources for Bakersfield College(BC).
  • To empower each new employee to thrive and advance the BC success story.
